Update 1.3 - File References in Composite Files
I've just released a new update for my Isle of Lore 2: Status Icons pack, and for Color Mapper as well, which now supports file references in composite files! Make sure to update Color Mapper first, before using it with the Status Icons update.
As you know, composite files can reference other images built by Color Mapper through their id, like this:
id:"figures\figure_elder_1"
Now, you can reference image files within the folder where the composite file is located.
Take a look at the icon 'afoot' from the upcoming Status Icons update, which comes in multiple variants, including one where numbers are put on top of the icon. The following image shows how 'afoot 0' (c) is put together from the icon (b) and the number (a).
This merging of the number with the icon was realized with composite files. Here is the composite file for that icon. As you can see, it first renders the icon by id (id:) and afterwards the number by file reference (file:).
width:768 height:768 <b>file:</b>"afoot_0.png" x:0 y:0 flipped:false id:"status_icons\status_icon_afoot_88" x:0 y:0 flipped:false
For more information, please refer to Color Mapper's documentation. Download the Color Mapper update and you are good to go!
Best regards,
Steven
